• Customized Internet Web Page
This service consists of a maintained, customized, password-protected Web site designed exclusively for your company. The Web page allows you to click on your location to display
the latest site-specific weather report on your screen. You decide which locations you see.
You may add or remove locations by calling WWT at 713-430-7100, or via email at wwt@wilkensweather.com . Your users can access their customized Web page from their
office, home or notebook computer on the go.
    • Web site weather graphics
View weather maps on your Web page, concurrent with the morning reports. The graphics system allows radar and satellite photos to be enhanced with color to define precipitation. Satellite and radar photos are automatically updated. View available ship reports throughout the world at the click of a button. See graphical wind and wave forecasts. Radar, buoy and ship reports are included as available for international locations.
    • Pop up alerts
Keep your Web site running in the background, while you work, and "pop-up" severe weather alerts will automatically launch to notify you of potential storms in your region. The latest alerts for each day are also displayed upon each new log in.

  • Hurricane Range Rings
Graphically determine the distance of critical wind speeds and the eye of the storm from your location. Using this new range ring feature you can determine if the location of the storm requires you to implement the next step in your contingency plan.

The storm track appears with rings around the eye of the hurricane. These rings represent wind speeds including gale and hurricane force winds. You add range rings around your site at distances that you select and progress the storm through its projected path to graphically depict the projected wind speeds at the crucial ranges you defined.

  • Special reports Special reports for planning purposes are issued on request for as long as required. This type of report is typically requested for platform or deck installations.
  • Additional and Extended outlook forecasts Regular weather reports are issued once or twice daily and include a 72-hour forecast. Additional daily forecasts may be required for critical operations, moves or when winds and seas are high. Extended forecasts are also available for your locations.
