WilkensNowcasting Pro 5, is a
patented, PC-based software application, designed to enhance
efficiencies in offshore operations planning by supplying
accurate hourly data to support operations in bad weather
conditions and pinpoint short weather windows, so crucial in
effective deep-sea work.
WilkensNowcasting Pro 5 displays forecast data
hourly for the first 24-hour period and every three hours
for the second 24-hour period, both with 0.25-degree spatial
resolution. A dedicated server and communications link
ensures prompt and reliable delivery of the most up-to-date
information. You can set alarms to obtain a clear visual of
the weather, allowing you to make critical decisions quickly
and easily.

Available as a stand-alone interface (running on Windows 95,
98, 2000/ME, XP or NT 4.0) or as a Web-based application
accessed through the Internet, WilkensNowcasting Pro
5
allows you to set detailed weather parameters, such as
wind speed and direction at 10 meters and 50 meters;
significant wave height; swell height, period and direction;
sea surface currents; currents at depth; and sea surface
temperature. You can also archive data for better incident
reporting. Coverage includes the U.S. East Coast, Gulf of
Mexico, the Caribbean, the North Sea, Mediterranean, and the
European Atlantic Coast
