  • Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from University of South Alabama
  • Numerous Honor Societies including Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Mortar Board International Honor Society
  • Research topics include: Doppler Observed Low-Level Wind Surges in Hurricane Danny’s (1997) Eyewall and Tornados embedded within the Outer Rainbands of Hurricane Frances (2004) with analysis presented at various conferences
  • Texas Tech University Instructor teaching Atmospheric Science courses
  • Experience in both television and radio broadcast
  • Member of American Meteorological Society
